What is Mother's Broth?

Mother's Broth is a natural by product of the steaming process. It contains water, placenta essence and traditional Chinese medicine herbs to help with warming a new mother, inflammation and cramps. They also help with stimulating the part of the brain that controls emotions, and helps the hypothalamus start producing hormones again. It can be taken in tea, coffee, or any other liquid you might drink. It has been said to be more potent than the capsules

What is Placenta Tincture?

Placenta tincture is an added bonus in that it can be used in addition to and long after the capsules are gone. By tincturing a small amount of the placenta in a high grade alcohol, you can increase the length and benefits of your placenta for both mother and child. The tincture can be used in any time of trauma, transition or emotional distress, for PMS, for mother later in life during menopause! Most importantly though, it can be used to simply extend your placenta therapy. By adding 5-10 drops of tincture to your tea, coffee, water, juice, etc. you may continue to reap the benefits of mood stability, decreased anxiety and more.

In the average woman, it takes the hypothalamus approximately three weeks to start producing the hormones that were being produced by the placenta during pregnancy. For some women, however, it takes a bit longer. For these women, the tincture can be extremely beneficial. The tincture is very shelf-stable, if kept in a cool dark place, and will last for many, many years, and can be especially useful in menopause.

If you are interested in the Placenta Tincture, please purchase a 750ml bottle of 100 proof vodka (Smirnoff, Absolut, and Stolichnaya all make 100 proof), and have it available at your home. (I cannot provide the alcohol due to the laws with resale of alcohol in the state of Maryland.)

What are Placenta Art Prints?

Placenta Art Prints are art made from the placenta; a lifelong memento of your child’s birth. Placenta prints are made by coloring the placenta using either food safe dyes - either natural or food coloring - and pressing it, along with the umbilical cord, to acid-free paper.

The result is a work of art that looks something like a tree, which makes sense as the placenta is sometimes referred to as the “Tree of Life.” Once the print has dried, families can frame and display it as a conversation starter or keep it tucked away as a personal keepsake.
