Birth Photography
Ever since I was in high school, a camera has never been far from my reach! Photography is definitely my other passion. As the partial owner of GREYSTONE Photographics, I have been capturing Engagements, Weddings, Maternity, Newborn, and Family Portraits professionally since 2005. It's only natural then, as a doula, that my next step would be into Birth Photography.
As a birth photographer, I will join families in labor to capture their birth experience in images. While I am also a certified childbirth doula, my primary responsibility when hired as a birth photographer, is to be a photographer. I will photograph your labor, your baby’s birth, your baby, first family portraits, and detail shots.
If you are delivering at a hospital, the photographer is limited by the guidelines of the hospital policies. Please check with them to ensure that photography is allowed. And as a rule, the top priority at all times is not the photography, but rather the safety of the mother in labor and the safe delivery of the baby.
Your images will be available via an online, secure, password protected website, usually within 2-3 weeks of the birth. If you do not want your images online, I will provide the full resolution DVD of all final images to you within 2-3 weeks via USPS.
